Are you a proud parent with a new baby?
Will your baby
be 2-4 months old in October?
If so...Your baby could be a teacher...and YOU could be a Roots of Empathy Family!
What is Roots of Empathy?
Roots of Empathy is an evidence-based classroom program that has shown a significant effect in reducing levels of aggression among school children while raising social/emotional competence and increasing empathy. The program helps students to understand each other better, creating a tolerance for our differences by observing and learning from the loving relationship between a parent and baby.
What is the role of the Family?
This program celebrates the power of the family in the development of the baby as a person. A mother and/or father visits a local school classroom with their baby and a
trained Roots of Empathy Instructor nine times throughout the school year, each time for about 30 minutes.
