This program supports you to build on social skills to create and maintain friendships and relationships. We have put together a curriculum to support youth, adults and seniors with developmental exceptionalities to identify, develop and practice creating friendships and relationships.
In this program you will learn and practice:
✅ Identifying potential friends and partners
✅ Starting and ending conversations
✅ Phone calls, social media and texting
✅ Planning and enjoying get togethers
✅ Handling disagreements
✅ Planning a date
✅ Asking someone out on a date
✅ Dating etiquette
Saturdays: April 18th – June 13th, 2020 (no program May 16th)
from 1pm- 3pm
Fee: $249 (Passport Funding Friendly)
Course is held at Community of Hearts-Lifelong Learning Centre (55 Wynham St N. Guelph, ON).
