The program is a fun, group-based, mental health promotion course which encourages people to learn to thrive in life.
The course is for anyone dealing with stress, worry, low mood or those needing help managing life’s challenges. Living Life to the Full teaches practical self-management skills, using the principles of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT).
During the course, attendees cover topics such as: self-confidence, problem-solving, motivation, dealing with unhelpful thoughts, and managing anger.
In eight weekly, 90-minute sessions, this program teaches people how to make helpful changes in their lives. Participants are taught how to deal with their feelings when fed-up, worried or hopeless, and learn skills to help them tackle life’s problems.
Dates: Tuesdays starting April 6, 2021 to May 25, 2021
