Join Spectrum and the Waterloo Region Family Network for a community conversation to help us develop supports for the Trans-Autism Community in Waterloo Region.
The goal of this conversation is to assess the need for supports tailored to the intersection of Autism and Gender Non-Conformity. We are hoping people will share their general experiences with us, help us learn what this community is looking for in terms of support, their experience with any past services, and what barriers they have experienced in accessing support.
This meeting is 18+ and all are welcome - individuals belonging to this intersection, caretakers or friends of those at this intersection, and those who are involved in community organizations working with these populations - however, emphasis will be placed on those voices directly belonging to the community.
