Educational Advocacy, the IEP and the IPRC with Ed Mahony

Ed Mahony will speak about the recommended steps for having a meaningful Individual Education Plan (IEP), Identification, Placement, and Review Committee (IPRC), and the reality of Ontario schools.

Ed Mahony is a system wide special education resource teacher in Hamilton, Ontario. He has experience providing families with practical and proven strategies to work successfully with Ontario schools to support children with special education needs.

He has over 25 years of experience teaching educators & parents about special needs, avoiding crisis behavior & advocacy strategies in colleges & other agencies throughout Ontario.

After his presentation there will be a Q&A, as well as refreshments and socializing.
