When parents communicate effectively, their kids / teens not only feel respected, understood and valued but are more likely to share their dreams& obstacles. If parents communicate ineffectively, kids / teens tend to shut down, avoid, blame, attack and become increasingly distant. In this keynote, Dr. Karyn will help you understand the enormous power you have in your kids’/ teens’ lives, and will help you learn the art of effective communication, including solution-focused techniques that will encourage your kids / teens to open up to you.

Please join the Wellington Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (CPIC) as they welcome Dr. Karyn Gordon to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School, 54 Westmount Road, Guelph, on January 16th, 2014 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
