The Government of Canada understands that long-term financial security is a real concern for people who have a disability and their families. For this reason, the Government introduced a first-of-its-kind savings program, the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP), which helps families ensure that loved ones with severe and prolonged disabilities can save for their future. The Government of Canada helps increase these savings by contributing up to $90,000 to their RDSPs through Grants and/or Bonds.

The Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN) is celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) and would like to invite you to join us on October 7th at 10:00 am EST, when we host representatives from the Canada Disability Savings Program (CDSP) to raise awareness about this little-known financial savings plan, how families can access the plan, and to share recent important changes to the RDSP and the Canada Savings Grant and Bonds.
