A nurturing and supportive relationship is the most important protective factor for children to develop resilience, and do well despite experiencing significant adversity. Service providers can play a key role in helping children and their families develop strong relationships.
In this webinar, Dr. Jean Clinton will explore the concept of resilience, the importance of relationships in building resilience, and what you can do to promote personal and community resilience.
Following Dr. Clinton's keynote, we will hear from a local physician, school principal and two outreach workers about how they use their understanding of ACFs and resilience to inform their work with children and families.
