This program for children 8-12 years designed to teach fundamental movement and sport skills needed to enjoy an active lifestyle. This program is based on the Long Term Athletic Development Model developed by Canadian Sport for Life. Focusing on improving the ABCs of movement including Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed, FUNdamentals will introduce several common sports and their rules.
Support is provided to each child through staff and volunteers to ensure success. This program not only encourages physical development but also fun social interaction with peers.
