Regulate to communicate is an education workshop, presented by a KidsAbility Occupational Therapist, and Speech-Language Pathologist. It is developed for parents/caregivers of children who are struggling to focus for learning, and are in the early stages of communication. This workshop will provide information on how to read body cues, and implement appropriate calming and/or alerting activities so that children may feel more “ready” to learn. We will also share strategies to help facilitate engagement, and develop early social communication skills.
