The Community Integration Through Co-operative Education (CICE) program is a two-year certificate program designed to support students with exceptionalities to be more independent members of the community with the goal of transitioning to employment, other academic programs, or volunteering. All programming is modified to meet students needs and supported by a team of Learning Strategists.
The program includes core courses common to all CICE students in topics such as human relations and communications, job skills, life skills, computer skills, and health and wellness. Other courses are drawn from current diploma programs that reflect student interests. In addition, students participate in 4 field placements to enhance their work skills and involvement with the community.
