Wilfrid Laurier Research Study to Promote Physical Activity Among Adults with Intellectual Disabilities?

Are you an adult caregiver (parent/guardian/friend/relative) over the age of 18, free from intellectual disabilities yourself, provide care and are knowledgeable about the daily patterns of an adult aged 18-64 with intellectual disabilities (ID)?

 

If so, we want to hear from you!

 

We are conducting a survey about the barriers and facilitators to participation in physical activity among adults with IDs.

Safety for Independent Living February 2024

 

Join Developmental Services Ontario, Central West Region for Safety for Independent Living, a personal safety course where people learn lifeskills that empower them to make safe choices both online and offline. 

 

Course content includes, basic first aid, fire safety, being assertive, people safety and how to ask for help, online safety, road safety, and more. 

 

The course is held from February 12 to 15 from 10 am to 12 pm. A Zoom link will be sent after you register.

Adults in Motion: Day Program and Virtual Registration is Open

September Registration is Open for Adults in Motion!

 

You and your family or support person(s) are invited to come for a tour of the Kitchener or Cambridge Day Program locations, where a variety of exciting in-person programming is offered. You can even join for a FREE half day!

 

There is an extensive online Virtual Program as well- with up to 8 classes a day! To register for Virtual Programming, simple fill out a simple registration HERE for your all-access link and start zooming today!
