Strong Moms, Safe Kids

This program is for:  Mothers who have experienced abuse in intimate relationships, Their children, ages 5 to 18, who have witnessed abuse in their homes,  Mothers living apart from the person who abused them  Multicultural facilitators are there to meet the needs of those from diverse ethno-cultural groups. Interpreters are available for women and children who do not speak English.  Each group session will include:  interactive large group activities as a family, separate small groups for moms, older kids & younger kids, a different topic week about healing from abuse,  developmentally appropriate conversation  and activities with peers of the same age- all program supplies provided.
