Recreational Respite September Activities

September 2023

Recreational Respite promotes inclusion, encourages community participation and nurtures social health and connectivity for children, youth and adults, across Canada.

 

Ages 5 - 100+

One to One Respite Support

Recreational Respite professionals work one-to-one with children, youth, adults and older adults who have a disability, mental health, or face social isolation. Those we support may face barriers to participation and connectivity which effect opportunities for participation. Targeted goals are for positive mental health, emotional wellness, social health and connectivity. Services are offered in the home or community. 
Cost $36.50 – $40.88 per hour

Young Adults (Ages 16+)

Virtual Group Programs

September is a month of transitions, whether you are heading into a new school year or embracing a new season. Join Recreational Respite's online group programs for Young Adults (ages 16+). Inclusive for all abilities, these groups foster outcomes such as creativity, critical thinking, independence, and self-discovery, along with healthy lifestyles, relationships, and skills for success.
