We are excited to announce that applications are now open for young people and families to join the Ontario Intensive Treatment Pathway (OITP) youth and family advisory committee! This new provincial initiative aims to transform intensive mental health treatment for children and youth to make the system better, starting with live-in treatment. Funded by the Government of Ontario, OITP seeks to close service gaps through a provincially guided, regionally delivered model tailored to local needs.
The committee will play a critical role in guiding OITP planning and implementation, offering insights on systems planning, clinical priorities, and more. We are looking for young people (aged 18+) and *family members with lived mental health experience, particularly those familiar with live-in treatment or out of home treatment, to ensure the OITP reflects their voices. Interested individuals can apply here.
