Accessibility Standards Canada-Invitation to our Annual Public Meeting

Building momentum for a barrier-free Canada!

 

Dear stakeholder,

Our annual public meeting is fast approaching, and you are invited! We consider you an important partner and value your thoughts and expertize on accessibility. Your involvement can help make Canada accessible. We want you to be part of this event.

 

About the event:

This is our second annual public meeting, and we have a lot to share. The event is free and will happen virtually on September 20, 2022, at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

 

It will be an opportunity to:

  • learn about the progress we made in the last year;
  • gain a clear understanding of our mandate and plans for the future, toward 2040;
  • hear more about two other key players under the Accessible Canada Act.

How to join the event

Closer to the event, we will send participation details to those who are registered. Use this information on the day of the event to join us online. There will also be the option to call-in and listen to the event.

 

Our goal is to make Canada accessible for all, and this is only possible with your participation. Please share this invitation with anyone in your network that might like to attend.

Notre assemblée publique annuelle approche à grands pas, et vous êtes invité! Vous êtes un partenaire important et nous valorisons vos réflexions et votre expertise en matière d'accessibilité. Votre participation peut contribuer à rendre le Canada accessible. Nous voulons que vous preniez part à cet événement.

 

À propos de l'événement :

Il s'agit de notre seconde assemblée publique annuelle, et nous avons beaucoup de choses à partager. L'événement est gratuit et aura lieu virtuellement le 20 septembre 2022 à 13 h, heure normale de l'Est.

 

Ce sera l'occasion :

  • de prendre connaissance des progrès que nous avons réalisés au cours de la dernière année;
  • de comprendre clairement notre mandat et nos plans pour l'avenir, en vue de 2040;
  • d’en savoir plus sur deux autres acteurs clés de la Loi canadienne sur l'accessibilité.
