Our Hours Have Changed For The Summer
Our summer hours are in effect at all EarlyON locations. For EarlyON | Oak Creek (Kitchener), EarlyON | Roger Street (Waterloo) and EarlyON | Water Street (Cambridge), this means a change to our hours of operation. Pease visit our website for more information.
August Registration is live!
We invite your family to drop in to one of our EarlyON locations throughout Waterloo Region. We also offer specialty and online programs that require pre-registration. Check our KEyON calendars for more information.
Child Protection Policy Update
The YMCA of Three Rivers (Lead Agency for EarlyON | Waterloo Region) aims to uphold a high standard for child protection and child safety at all of our locations. This includes verifying the identity of the adults who are entering our spaces. All adults entering EarlyON Child and Family Centres who are not known to the EarlyON professional at point of entry will be asked to provide Government issue photo ID in order to enter the EarlyON location. For families participating in EarlyON Drop In or programs onsite, they will also be asked to sign in with their KEyON account.
If attending EarlyON, please ensure that each adult entering EarlyON has their own KEyON account. KEyON accounts can still be created onsite at EarlyON locations or by participants offsite. Government issue photo ID will be required to obtain a KEyON key tag in-person at an EarlyON location.
For questions about this update to our policies, please email earlyyearsinfo@ytr.ymca.ca or visit our EarlyON Experience page for more information.

Inclement Weather Policy:
EarlyON at Linear Park and EarlyON at Victoria Hills Community Centre are outdoor registered programming. Outdoor programs may be cancelled as a result of the weather. Please ensure that your KEyON notifications are turned to “ON” to ensure you receive any cancellation notice sent.
To support with providing a clear understanding of our policy and practices, if The Weather Network indicates at 8:00am on the day of the outdoor program that there is a 60% or higher chance of rain for the time of the program (morning, afternoon, evening), the program will be cancelled.
In the event of extreme heat or humidity or air quality advisories, we will work with our EarlyON professionals to determine whether or not a program will be offered. Please ensure that you have notifications on in KEyON to receive cancellation notices when they occur.
All updates about unexpected cancellations will be posted on our social media pages.

After the consultation, you will leave with a plan including strategies and possible referrals to other supports or services.
The Zero2Six program offers consultation sessions to parents and legal guardians of infants, toddlers and preschoolers (birth to six years of age). Consultations focus on social and emotional development, behaviour challenges, and parenting strategies.
