We are pleased to congratulate David Roche on being awarded the Order of Canada for his contributions to the field of disability art, and for promoting acceptance, inclusion and diversity across Canada and the United States.
David is a pioneer of disability culture, an inspirational humorist who has transformed the challenges and gifts of living with a facial difference into a compelling message that has been heard around the world. David has spread his message of "inspirational humour" through his educational video series Love at First Sight, presented in partnership with his wife Marlena to schools across Canada, through his book, The Church of 80% Sincerity and by many world-wide appearances
We were thrilled to have David speak at the P4P Art of Belonging Event.
