Our first support group of this kind is an 8-week program running every Wednesday from 11:00am - 12:30pm, designed for Moms Connecting with Moms: Support Group for New Mom's Experiencing Perinatal/Postpartum Anxiety and Depression
This specialty group is tailored for new moms looking for a welcoming space to share their experiences and have opportunities to learn more about managing postpartum anxiety and depression.
Curious about what this group entails? This group will support new moms in:
-Sharing their experiences in a safe and supportive space
-Understanding what causes postpartum depression and anxiety
-Helping manage intrusive and negative thoughts that contribute to postpartum anxiety and depression
-Practicing mindfulness, relaxation and self-compassion techniques
-Building a support network
-Learning how to move towards a balanced life as a new mom
We are very excited to open a space where new moms can share their experiences, be heard and validated, and learn ways to manage negative postpartum symptoms.

The cost of the group is $300 ($37.50 per week break down), but a sliding scale can be offered as we are offering a 'pay what you can' model. Funding can also be provided through NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits) for those with valid certificate of registration.
