We are very excited to announce our upcoming webinar taking place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 – 1 pm ET.
In this webinar, Alice Audrain, a researcher / consultant / activist who identifies as a proud queer mixed-race black francophone parent will draw on her personal and professional experience to discuss challenges faced by diverse communities of caregivers raising black children with FASD. Alice will explain the concept of intersectionality as it relates to racial, gender and disability identity, and the importance for people supporting diverse families to employ an intersectional lens when providing care. This webinar will be of interest to professionals, service providers, parents / caregivers, and people with FASD.
