Special Services at Home? Passport funding?
Direct funding?
How can they be used to improve the life of the person with disability?
Please join FSN on this virtual session to hear People for Personalized Funding, previously known as the Special Services at Home Provincial Coalition (SSAHPC), which is a family-led, volunteer, grassroots organization that has been advocating with and for people living with disabilities and their families in Ontario for over 40 years (1982)
PFPF’s vision is a society where all people can live ordinary lives in their own homes and contribute to the life of their neighbourhoods and communities.
SSAH and Passport are the two types of Direct Funding that get directed to the person with disability and their family to manage. These direct fundings puts choice and control in the hands of the person, with the help of their family and other support to decide and plan how to use it towards their unique changing needs.
