A message from our Executive Director
What a year! Thanks to the CADDAC team and an incredibly supportive community in Canada, we were able to make an even bigger impact in the lives of Canadians affected by ADHD in 2023, our most successful year to date!
We delivered 58 programs to approximately 4,000 individuals and families affected by ADHD, and hosted our 15th Annual ADHD Conference in Calgary — our first in-person conference in 3 years — with over 350 attendees! In addition, we made great strides toward improving resources and care for Canadians affected by ADHD by working with Edmonton MP Heather McPherson to develop Bill C-329, National Framework on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Act.
Your enthusiasm, engagement, and donations allow CADDAC to provide educational programs, advocate governments, and bring awareness to those affected by ADHD; for this we are thankful!
In 2024, CADDAC would like to build on our continued success by introducing new programs, support groups and initiatives. Please check our website and social media channels to stay up to date with what we have planned this year!
Parenting Support Group
Join CADDAC’s Virtual Parent Support Group, led by CADDAC-trained facilitators, who are all parents and caregivers of children with ADHD. Sessions will allow you to share your story or strategies with others who understand what it means to be a parent or caregiver of a child (or children!) with ADHD.
Who can join: Open to any parents/caregivers of children with ADHD in Canada. All support groups are drop-in. Feel free to register for whichever timezone works best for your personal schedule.
