The deadline to file your taxes is quickly approaching.
This year we wanted to pass on some information to help you prepare for tax season.
If you feel your income is too low to warrant filing your taxes or you don't have any income, it is important to remember there are many benefits that can be accessed by low-income Canadians. There are also a number of tax credits that you may be eligible for including the Ontario Low-Income Workers Tax Credit, Canada Caregiver Tax Credit, Medical Expense Tax Credit and the Disability Tax Credit. Check out Prosper Canada's Wayfinder Benefit to help you determine which benefits you might be eligible for.

Tax Credit - April 11 at 7pm EST/4pm PST
The Disability Tax Credit is an important tax credit as it is the gateway to opening an RDSP. But it is also a credit that can help reduce income taxes in order to offset some of the extra costs people living with a disability may incur.
This webcast is being presented in partnership with Disability Alliance BC. The webcast will be recorded and made available to watch for one month after the air date.
