On June 20, Developmental Services Ontario, Region of Waterloo, Waterloo Region Family Network, and Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region are hosting two housing presentations - one in the afternoon and one in the evening.
We will be exploring Affordable Housing & Developmental Services supports in Waterloo Region and how to access the two systems: Developmental Services (provincial) and Affordable Housing (municipal). While these two systems can work together to help provide housing for those with developmental disabilities, they don't always overlap. We will walk you through the process of how to access both.
The Housing Forum will also feature information tables from Developmental Services providers and other housing providers in the region that guests can visit at the beginning and end of the event. There will be multiple opportunities throughout presentations to ask your questions.
