We are excited to tell you about our Caregiver Art Retreat coming up in February!
St. Brigid's Villa is a serene pastoral location on the west side of Guelph, just a half hour from Kitchener-Waterloo. Rachel and Wendy will provide their warm hospitality for this day of caregiver self care. Our day will include warm drinks and snacks, as well as a light lunch (vegan, gluten free options provided) . Enrollment is limited to 20 participants.
Participants will be invited to try a variety of art media including watercolour, gouche and acrylic paints, collage, needle felting and creating 3D pieces.
We will refuel, reflect and restore with a playful and light-hearted spirit.
This session is for anyone who is providing care for a loved one in or out of their home. Perhaps you are caring for a spouse, an adult son or daughter, a parent, or a friend. Regardless, caregiving can be isolating and tedious at times. Art and play can help rejuvenate our energy and our spirit.
