The Perinatal Mental Health Coalition (PMHC) of Waterloo Region takes meaningful actions in a collective and coordinated manner with the goal of increasing services addressing perinatal mental health in Waterloo Region.
PMHC in partnership with Researchers of the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute at the University of Guelph, is conducting a study to learn what doctors and health-care clinics are asking parents about their mental health when expecting a child or are a new parent. We seek to understand the prevalence and use of mental health screening tools in Waterloo Region and will use the data collected to guide our work as a Coalition.
Two survey’s have been developed to reach both Parents and Health Care Providers. Please respond by September 9th.
