New public review: The future of accessible AI depends on you!
Today, we’re inviting you to participate in the public review of our draft standard on Accessible and Equitable Artificial Intelligence (AI) Systems.
AI is rapidly becoming a key part of our daily lives, from voice assistants to hiring tools to automated systems in various sectors. But is it fair and accessible to all? We’re developing an accessibility standard to make sure AI systems work for everybody, including people with disabilities.
What this standard will do
Our standard will help build equitable, inclusive, and barrier-free AI systems. It provides clear requirements to:
· make AI systems accessible to people with disabilities
· ensure AI systems treat people with disabilities fairly
· teach people about fair and accessible AI
Why your feedback matters
Change starts with you! Whether from lived experience or professional expertise, your feedback will help create a standard that reflects real needs and removes barriers for all Canadians. Your insights are key to building equitable, inclusive, and well-designed AI systems from the start.
Share your thoughts to refine the standard and shape a future where AI systems work for everyone!
