An event for seniors, our new arts programming, and community training sessions are back!

Introducing Spectrum Arts!

It’s been long in the making, but it’s finally here! Our new Spectrum Arts program is a series of new programming that focuses on all things art. Every week on Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:30 PM, you can come out and do some kind of art in community with other folks. March will be our first full month of programming as follows: March 5 is our Improv night, March 12 is a linocut workshop and general drop-in for arts, March 19 is a singing social, and March 26 will be a drop-in creative writing session. Come on out and learn or create something new!

Dying to Know Event

Coming up on Saturday, March 22 at Kitchener Library’s main branch is an event for rainbow seniors called Dying to Know. This all-day, free event will provide a thoughtful, informative and self-care focused experience covering important topics such as:

·    Navigating community health care, housing and grief

·    Health Care decision making in Ontario

·    Wills, Estates and Financial Aspects of Illness and Dying

·    Navigating Difficult Conversations and Self-Advocacy

·    Stress reduction strategies

While this event is free, registration is required. To register, click here.

Free Rainbow Diversity Training Sessions

A few times a year, we offer Rainbow Diversity Training sessions for free to the public. This month, we have a free Rainbow Diversity Training 101 session open to anyone who would like to attend. In this session, we cover some basic concepts and terminology around the 2SLGBTQIA+ community – including a little bit about what all those letters mean. If you or someone you know would benefit from a little extra knowledge, feel free to join us on March 22 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM Eastern time online on Zoom. Certificates can be given out for attending upon request. To register, click here go to the Eventbrite.

Moved Gala Date

While we originally announced the 2025 Gala date as June 19th, we have decided to change it to June 18th out of respect for the observance of Juneteenth. You can now look forward to the Gala in June one day sooner!

Interested in Getting Active?

Our multi-sport program is one of our most popular programs! It's the gym class you never had growing up. Get active in a group of other 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, and enjoy moving your body.
