Stepping Stones Expressive Arts announces their Retreat into Art and Nature, May 25th 10am-3:30pm at the Homer Watson House and Gallery. Join us for a day to creatively celebrate our connection with the natural world!
The day will include making art both inside the Garden Studio and out in the beautiful surroundings of the Gallery. We'll be inspired by bird song and sightings, the spring garden, and the wildlife and insects that make their home there.
We will offer a full art making "buffet" with materials for various kinds of painting, needle felting and stitching, collage, sculpture, and creative writing. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided and you can bring your own lunch.
If you have done sessions with us before, you know that we focus primarily on the rich process of art making and less on the finished project. We offer a safe making space based on curiosity and exploration. We work together to quiet the judgmental voices that may rise inside us and affirm our self expression in whatever form it takes.
