March of Dimes now has two new registration forms for virtual programs- Connect & Share and Hi Tech.
Connect and Share
Social Connect matches participants with like-minded volunteers for social engagement, support, sharing of hobbies and other activities. The goal is to combat social isolation and loneliness. This program is completely virtual, and will take place remotely, either via telephone or an online platform like Zoom!
The sessions last for about 30 to 60 minutes and the schedule is entirely up to the volunteer and you!
Hi Tech!
Tech Connect has volunteers who provide remote tech support, to help solve any problems that you may have with understanding, accessing and using digital technology. You might want to join Facebook, play online scrabble, buy your groceries online or use Zoom to join a virtual program - you just don’t know how!
Each support session is expected to last between 30 and 60 minutes. The volunteers can connect with you whenever it is convenient for both of you!
