Employment can change lives. Yet, the research shows us that youth who have a disability often face barriers to accessing early work experiences such as co-op and summer jobs. These are important learning opportunities that help youth obtain work after leaving high school.
During National Youth Week, ODEN will promote access to employment for youth who have a disability by ensuring that stakeholders such as family and educators are aware of the service providers in their community who operate summer employment programs.
Please complete this quick survey and provide us information about your service and programs focused on youth employment (15-29 years of age).
