People First of Canada Information Session

KW Habilitation is hosting a People First of Canada Information Session on Wednesday, May 8 from 10 am - 2:30 pm. 

 

Anyone who wants to learn more about People First can join this information session. That includes self advocates, friends, family and staff. There is no cost to attend, but they ask that you register ahead of time.

At these sessions they are going to share information about People First and how to become a member in your community. The sessions will be led by current People First members.

At the information sessions, members will talk about the following topics:

  • The history of People First in Canada
  • The work of People First and our priorities
  • The importance of self advocates having a voice
  • What it means to be a People First member and how to join

There will be lots of opportunities for everyone to interact and share questions and ideas.
